South Rim Adventure: Badger Survey

May 12 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Explore, Discover & Contribute to Conservation!

Embark on a 2-5 mile adventure through the breathtaking land of the upper San Diego River Gorge, navigating varied terrain—including some bushwhacking! Have fun alongside fellow nature enthusiasts and help document the presence or absence of the American badger (Taxidea taxus), a species protected under the San Diego Multiple Species Conservation Plan (MSCP). Your participation will provide valuable data to support conservation efforts and assess how interconnected protected lands are working to sustain local biodiversity.

Please wear a hat, sunscreen, long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Bring plenty of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized.

Ages 13+ | Join us for this exciting, purpose-driven hike!
