Silverwood Tributaries and Riparian Habitat Exploration

The oak-shaded tributaries of the San Diego River are of great ecological importance to the river’s watershed. Join Silverwood’s Resident Naturalist Phil Lambert to learn all about these special places. (Even the smallest streams are home to everything from little tree frogs to Great Horned Owls!) A guided nature tour will be offered at 10 a.m. 
Additional Notes:
This is an easy walk covering a distance of up to .25 miles. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes. Bring sun protection and at least 12 oz. of water.
Guests are welcome to stick around and explore Silverwood at their own pace, post the guided tour! (Silverwood is open Sundays 9 am to 4 pm.)
Don’t forget to pack a bag of lunch for the picnic area after!

No pets, please. Adults and children welcome; stroller-friendly

This hike will be led by Laurel Kelly, site Resident Manager is Phil Lambert.
