Barona Cultural Center & Museum Day
May 17 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Embark on a unique educational journey at the Barona Cultural Center & Museum! View collections that represent thousands of years of history—some objects dating as far back as 10,000 years—and appreciate the artistry and skill of the hemisphere’s first inhabitants.
The center is San Diego County’s first museum on an Indian reservation dedicated to the perpetuation and presentation of the local Kumeyaay-Diegueño Native culture. Take this opportunity to learn and appreciate that Indigenous people in San Diego have lived on lands associated with the San Diego River since time immemorial.
No RSVP required. Admission is FREE and hours are 10 am – 4 pm.
