How Birds and Dogs Can Live Together

May 19 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Come enjoy a day of educational fun at the River Estuary at Dog Beach in Ocean Beach! Fur and feathers live together in this diverse river habitat. From Dog Beach to the protected Estuary, learn about the endangered birds that use the river as a stopping ground during their migratory route, in addition to those that call the river home. Find out how to protect this fragile ecosystem and discover a new world around and above the San Diego River. Along with our partners, the Audubon Society, we will share how birds and dogs can cohabitate safely within this fragile estuary.

Guided Bird Walks and hands-on family-friendly activities will illustrate how birds and dogs can cohabitate safely within this fragile estuary ecosystem.

Additional Notes:

Sun protection recommended

Public restrooms available at the beach.

Just come out and enjoy the day with us.

All ages are welcome!
