Sunset Gardening at the San Diego River Mouth
May 15 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Free
Come celebrate River Days and join us for a wonderful sunset gardening experience at the beautiful River Mouth in Ocean Beach (near dog beach)!
Join us for a peaceful evening in the garden as we help trim and care for its impressive collection of native and rare plants. Enjoy the sights and scents of spring blooms, connect with fellow nature lovers, and make a meaningful impact for the San Diego watershed. By caring for native plants, you help pollinators thrive and support a healthier, more biodiverse, and climate-resilient ecosystem. We hope to see you there!
Please note: The meeting location is NEAR the address listed. We will meet at the small grassy area between the main parking lot, the San Diego River Bikeway, and Ocean Villa Inn.
River Days is our annual 9-day celebration of the San Diego River! SDRPF and an estimated 20 partners host fun nature outings, volunteer opportunities, art activities, bike rides, hikes, and much more along all 52 miles of the river. To see the full River Days schedule, click here.
