OB Estuary Restoration & Nature Walk

May 19 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Looking for a fun beautification project to impact your local community? Look no further, as our lovely River Mouth at the river estuary is always blooming with projects (and unfortunately this time of year, invasive plants)! Join the San Diego River Park Foundation’s Garden Club and staff to help maintain the trails within the river mouth habitat. Activities may include weeding, light path maintenance, as well as volunteer education to get the community trained on the incredible native plants the River Mouth has to offer and the non-native plants that threaten them. We will also offer tours of the dunes after the work session is over.

Additional Notes:

Please arrive by 8:45 am to allow for parking and check-in
All supplies will be provided
Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat
Meet on the grass between the parking lot and the river bikeway
No experience required
Family friendly!
