Guided River Walk with the CEO
May 11 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
FreeTo kick off San Diego River Days, The San Diego River Park Foundation’s CEO, Rob Hutsel, (who is also one of the organization’s founders) invites you to join him for a guided walk of the River Trail in Mission Valley. Learn about the history of this area, the ecological value, and the future of new parks and trail segments coming soon from the person in the know!
This is an excellent chance to get a glimpse behind the River Park Foundation’s trail advocacy efforts. You may even be inspired to become a trail advocate! This walk will be at a leisurely pace, stopping for occasional discussion, for approximately 2.3 miles on a paved path, traveling from Fashion Valley Road to Mission Center Road and back. Strollers are welcome! Leashed, well-mannered dogs are also welcome.
Additional Notes:
This walk is part of a series of events being hosted at this site on May 11, including:
- Habitat restoration: 9:30 am – noon
