Community River Clean-Up

FreeLooking for a volunteer opportunity that allows you to support a healthy river while interacting with a group of like-minded people? Come join one of The San Diego River Park Foundation’s flagship volunteer teams to assist with River Clean-Ups! Volunteers are needed to remove trash and pollution from south side of this special 51-acre ecological preserve, the Mission Valley Preserve. Join us in preventing pollution from entering our ocean!
We changed this event to have one location:
The SOUTH side will stage from Cottonwood Grove, so volunteers can park at the Presidio Little League Fields and head west to find the entrance to Cottonwood Grove. – (This location is Family-Friendly!)

RSVP below is required for this event!
- Family-friendly – there will be a family-friendly team at the SOUTH event to tackle areas suitable for kids
- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and collect supplies
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Long pants required
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses) recommended
- Bring your own reusable water bottle
- Event tools and supplies will be provided
- There are no restrooms available at this event
- Participating in this event will include walking on uneven terrain and/or stopping and bending
- Community service hours can be verified for volunteers at this event
