Three Sisters Waterfall Hike with USFS and SDRPF

May 11 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

Hike to the Three Sisters Waterfall with the US Forest Service and San Diego River Park Foundation!

Please join Cleveland National Forest Botanist, Katya Hernandez-Pol and San Diego River Park Foundation Volunteer Preserve Steward David Mears on this ‘moderately’ challenging 4.1-mile out-and-back hike to visit the flowing Three Sisters Waterfalls. Learn about the blooming flora of the surrounding area as you take in the breathtaking views of the San Diego River Watershed.

Additional Notes:

The elevation gain is approximately 984 feet. The new trail is a bit less challenging than the old trail, but the hike back from the waterfalls is steep and uphill the entire way. For more information follow this [link] to Alltrails description.

Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, a hat, and sun-protective clothing. Please bring sunscreen, a minimum of 2.5 liters of drinking water, snacks, and a lunch to enjoy at the waterfalls. The hike may not take the entire duration of the time allotted.

The meeting location is set at Three Sisters Trailhead and parking area, approximately an hour and a half away from downtown San Diego.

If you sign up here, please do NOT sign up on the San Diego River Park Foundations Event calendar!
