Silverwood Tributaries and Riparian Habitat Exploration

May 12 at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

The oak-shaded tributaries of the San Diego River are of great ecological importance to the river’s watershed. Join Silverwood’s Resident Naturalist Phil Lambert to learn all about these special places. (Even the smallest streams are home to everything from little tree frogs to Great Horned Owls!) Guided nature tours will be offered at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Don’t forget to pack a bag lunch for the picnic area after!

This is an easy walk covering a distance of up to .25 miles. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes. Bring sun protection and at least 12 oz. of water. No pets, please. Kids welcome; stroller friendly.

This event is suitable for adults and children ages 6+.
