Self-Guided Hike at Ruffin Canyon
May 8 - May 16
Explore the San Diego River Watershed by taking yourself on a self-guided hike through Ruffin Canyon! City of San Diego Open Space Rangers have placed educational signage along the trail so that you can learn about native flora, fauna, and more along this 2.6 mile out and back hike through one of San Diego’s urban canyons.
How to Prepare: For your comfort and safety, wear a face covering, sturdy close-toed shoes, layered clothing, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water to drink during your hike.
Please note that sections of this trail have uneven, rocky terrain. See map for options to extend or shorten your hike.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
