Preserve Steward Work Party

May 17 at 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join The San Diego River Park Foundation’s Preserve Stewards volunteer team to care for the beautiful open space land of the headwaters of the San Diego River.  Volunteers will work together to maintain trails, care for oak trees, remove invasive non-native plants, care for native plants, repair fences, and install irrigation. Come see what we can accomplish together!  This is an excellent opportunity to check out this beautiful preserve and help care for these places at the same time.  (Plus, if you enjoy the work, this is a recurring event so we hope you’ll return in the future.)

Volunteers will start at 8 am and finish by 11 am, and enjoy lunch together in the shade from 11 am – noon.  This event will take place at Eagle Peak Ranch, a San Diego River Park Foundation preserve near Julian, approximately a 1.5 hour drive from downtown San Diego.
