Join Ranger Bill Augustus from San Diego County Parks and Recreation for a guided hike at Santa Ysabel East Preserve!

Hike along the Santa Ysabel Creek on your way to Kanaka Flats.  Here you will find one source for the San Diego River.  You’ll learn all about the plants, wildlife, and history of the area on this 7-mile hike. 

Distance: 7 miles

Difficulty: This is a moderate to difficult hike so please wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.

Dogs on a leash are welcome.
