Bookworms, Bees and Butterflies!

May 20 at 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Bring the kiddos and meet us at the Mission Valley Library anytime between noon and 2 pm on May 20thĀ to find out which building has the most stories,Ā what a bee’s favorite book is, and how you can learn more about spiders.

We will share fun facts about the San Diego River and the animals that live around the watershed.Ā Ā Even if those animals are hiding in plain sight, you can be part of the food web by creating a trout hat, bobcat or bat mask.Ā  Take a close look at nature through microscopes and make an animal bookmark to keep tabs on your library books.Ā  Book it to the doors of the Mission Valley Library to find our education table!

And in case you are curious…

  • Which building has the most stories?Ā  A Library
  • What is a bee’s favorite book?Ā The Great Gats-bee.
  • The book about the Julian mountains ended with quite aĀ cliff hanger.
  • How do you learn more about spiders?Ā Check out their web site!
