SUMMARY:Mission Valley Kayak and River Bank Clean-Up
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers and kayakers needed! \nThis is a special opportunity to kayak along the San Diego River and have fun while helping to remove hard-to-reach stormwater debris floating in the water. We need paddlers who can bring their own kayak\, paddle\, and life vest.  Kayakers will be in the water from 10 am – noon. 10 spots are available! \nWe also need shoreline volunteers to help pick up litter along the shore. \nWe’re looking to accomplish a trash free river in this area by May. We hope you can join this vital effort! \nDue to the nature of this event kayakers should be 18 and over\, but volunteers of all ages are welcomed to join on the shoreline! \nPlease RSVP below\, AND if you are interested in being 1 of the 10 kayakers for this event email rachel@sandiegoriver.org as soon as possible to reserve your spot today! \nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease wear long sleeves\, long pants\, and sturdy closed-toed shoes for protection\nPlease wear a hat\, sunglasses and sunscreen\nAll necessary tools will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you prefer\nPlease bring a reusable water bottle\, so we can limit single-use plastic\n\n\n\nHosted by:
